CUTLAM micro 3.0. - automatic cutting machine for long and difficult cuts with high precision
The CUTLAM micro 3.0 is a benchtop cutting machine with amazing capabilities where space is limited. Complex work, even on heterogeneous materials: The CUTLAM micro 3.0 makes this possible with a wide range of movement options for the cutting disc and table, as well as a flexible feed speed control system. It automatically reduces the feed rate when the load on the blade increases. In this way, heat damage to the samples is minimized and damage to heterogeneous materials is prevented. Thanks to the many options, special cuts are possible.

Product details
Compact large-capacity cutting machine
Equipped with large sample chamber (320 x 540mm) and grooved aluminum table (210 x 210mm) with interchangeable stainless steel pallets.
The high cutting performance of the CUTLAM micro 3.0 is based on the use of a cutting disc 230 mm combined with the vertical displacement of 100 mm (Z-axis) and a longitudinal travel of 270 mm (Y-axis).
Precision
The positioning accuracy of the axes is 0.01 mm (visible on the screen) and the feed speed during the cut is adjustable from 0.1 to 20 mm/s.
Intelligent feed rate control
The "intelligent feed rate control" automatically reduces the axis feed to a minimum value of 0.02 mm/s when the load on the blade increases.
It will return to the preset speed when the load on the blade decreases. This improves the quality of the section by minimizing heat damage to the samples. Suitable for irregular samples and/or materials with heterogeneous hardness.
This prevents the disc from breaking when overloaded and allows you to always work at maximum speed without the risk of damage.
You are always in control
A large touchscreen with a user-friendly user interface ensures intuitive operation and lightning-fast intervention. All positions and cutting parameters remain visible on the screen. Up to 300 programs can be stored in the onboard memory (including: start position, feed rate, RPM, cutting mode). Using a joystick allows quick positioning of the blade. In automatic or semi-automatic mode, the estimated cutting time appears.
3 cutting modes are available: manual, semi-automatic, automatic.
